As Spring is now here I am getting ready for my all important “Spring Clean”
This usually involves cleaning each room thoroughly; cupboards in and out, skirting boards, windows etc etc. However, this year I am taking extra care to make my home ‘Green’ as well as ‘Clean’
This process will involve using all natural cleaning products. As an allergy sufferer I love the ‘ECloth‘ range as I can use the cloths dry to dust or simply wet them to clean. Although this sounds basic it really is effective. It also means that I can clean my home thoroughly but have no allergic reactions from any scents.
I have been encouraging friends and family to go ‘Green’ and introduced them to natural cleaning products. They are all very keen to eliminate as many chemicals as possible but some do like ‘a clean smell’ as they put it! Having tested many products over the years I can highly recommend the ‘CITRA SOLV‘ Range. This is simply made from orange peel extract and you can clean your home top to bottom with this.
Whilst you’re cleaning each room try and de-clutter any unwanted things but remember to RECYCLE Please see www.freecycle.org as an option that I like to use whereby you offer these items for free to someone in your community. It’ll make you feel good to help others out there (plus you’re getting someone to pick up your unwanted things)
I always feel so much better when I have got rid of old clothes, books, furniture, toys and anything else we don’t use. However, DO NOT dump it irresponsibly – RECYCLE RECYLCE RECYCLE (and/or I like to give some things to charity too)
My family and I are all much happier since we’ve been using natural laundry detergents. We simply do not need all those chemicals on our skin which can lead to eczema and other problems too. I vary between AQUABALLS and SOAP NUTS.
You do not need to be an allergy sufferer to use natural products but just someone who does not want chemicals in their home, on their skin or ruining the planet.
